Unique to South Dakota, JLC is proud to introduce Jenkins Main Street. The Main Street is adorned with red lantern street lights. On one corner, you will find the Old-Fashion Soda Fountain where you can get an ice cream cone or sundae. Across the “street” you will find the City Park equipped with a swing set, wishing well, trees & flowers. As you stroll down the “street” you will see a hand-painted mural depicting uptown Watertown in the 1930’s. This leads you to the Fireside Room which is ideal for a private dinner, family gatherings or to just enjoy a movie. The center of Main Street features an “in-door” Bandstand where local entertainers perform. You can also find a quiet, peaceful Chapel accessible 24 hours a day. Just a few short steps off of Main Street you will find the elegant Looking Glass salon where residents are able to have their hair cut, permed and styled by area professionals.

Main
Street Mercantile was added in 2006 with old-style charm and gifts
galore. There are many items including Christian gifts, personal
care items, stuffed animals and many other unique gift giving
ideas. Main Street is also planning on adding a Post Office in the
near future and to create some “landscaping” in the area. If you
are interested in making a financial contribution to this growing
